Tonight on MXTalkRadio – Michael Byrne, Les Smith and MXvsATV Giveaway #5 & 6

It’s been a while since we chatted with BTO Sports’ Michael Byrne, so we’ve got some catching up to do. Dallas was hot and cold for a lot of reasons, but Burner managed to put in a solid ride and get out of TX without incident. We’ll see what Michael’s recovery from injury has been like as well as his take on this exciting 2011 SX series, both as a spectator and a competitor.
Next up we’ve got fan favorite Les Smith back on the show and rapping about his time in the East Coast Lites class. Les has had his own taste of hot and cold putting in some Hot Top10 rides until he hit his near freezing point in Dallas over the weekend when he failed to qualify for the main. We’ll check in Bodybag & Forehead style with Les and see what his take is on the season as it quickly grinds to a halt.


Last but not least we will cover MotoXDream Fantasy Racing and give away our #5 and #6 MXvsATV ALIVE swag bag to our weekly MXTalkRadio Division winner.

Sorry guys, my fabulous co-host Forehead pulled the plug on tonight’s show due to ‘Family Obligations‘ and the old ‘I Could Use The Day Off‘ excuse. I guess all those hours he’s been putting in behind the desk were wearing at him and he needed some free time to spend at the RC Car track. Anyway, HUGE bummer because I had already lined up a superstar cast of guests for the show including Reed, JS7, Dungey, Canard, Hannah, McGrath, Glover, etc, etc… it WAS going to be surreal…. alas, it will never happen now.

Anyway, tune in next Tuesday while we catch up this weeks events plus the events of the upcoming race in Dallas. I will be on-hand in Dallas so hopefully I can bring some fresh guests and first hand confessions of what I see when it all goes down.

Bodybag & Forehead LIVE!!! – Durham, Futrell and Seely

Darryn Durham, Taylor Futrell, Cole Seely and MXvsATV Giveaway #4

Double D, Darryn Durham made his return to racing this weekend in Jacksonville putting his Eleven 10 Mods Honda well inside the Top10 with a 6th OA. We’re looking forward to hearing from Darryn about his speed, his wreck at Houston and his new gig with the team.
Taylor Futrell is making his debut appearance on MXTalkRadio tonight, so we’ll have to spend a little time getting to know the semi-rookie. He’s currently sitting 13th in points, and he’s fresh off his first Top10 of the season at Jacksonville. we’ll ask him about his results, as well as his thoughts on his season so far.
Next up we’ve got Cole Seely checking in to chat about his fill-in ride under the Factory Honda tent. Cole was on fire in the West Lites series and has been equally fast on the big 450 in the East. We’ll ask Cole how he got the ride and what he thinks about competing with the best-of-the-best in the deepest sea of talent our sport has seen since the 80′s

Finally, we will once again cover MotoXDream Fantasy Racing and give away yet another MXvsATV ALIVE swag bag to our weekly MXTalkRadio Division winner.

Tuesday March 15th on MXTalkRadio – Matt Boni, Justin Barcia, Dave Derringer and MXvsATV Giveaway

Ti-Lubes’ Matt Boni is back for another round of banter with us. We’ll rap with him about the obvious cookie cutter stuff, but we’ll also find out what is new with him. Matt’s coming off a pair of 12th place finishes at Daytona and Indy, and is always good for a story about gators or his dads airboat, and anything else that goes on in the swamp…
For the first time on MXTalkRadio, we’ve got East Coast Lites sensation Justin Barcia from the Factory Connection Geico Honda Team. Justin can fill us in on his season and talk about some of his “more aggressive” moves, then we’ll do what we can to find out about the kid they call “bam bam”.

Since Bodybag & Forehead couldn’t make it to Indy, we’ll be catching up with juggalo extraordinaire Dave Deringer to give us some of the highlights and lowlights of the weekend. We are truly hoping he has some groundbreaking dirt he can shovel on us, but more than likely we’ll just bench race about the weekend and on what’s to come for the season.

Finally, we will cover our fetish for MotoXDream Fantasy Racing and we’ll even give away another MXvsATV ALIVE swag bag to our weekly MXTalkRadio Division winner.

Bodybag & Forehead LIVE!!! – Larsen, Klatt, Wey

Tonight on MXTalkRadio – PJ Larsen, Dusty Klatt, Nick Wey, MXvsATV Giveaway, and MotoXDream

JStar/JDR Motorsports has been making a name for themselves this year, and tonight we’ve got their Easy Coast Lites “Star” PJ Larsen on to tell us how things are going. PJ’s been racing more than half his life, and his experience is making a clear difference in this years East Lites Series. In the first 3 rounds, PJ has gooten faster and his results speak volumes, and after his recent 5th at Daytona, nobody would dare argue he doesn’t have what it takes.

UP next we’ve got Canadian National Champ Dusty Klatt checking in. This is Dusty’s first time on the show, so we’ll spend a little time getting to know the speedy Canuk. It’s been a while since Dusty raced here in the US, but he’s hanging around Southern California these days so maybe he’s got plans to get busy in the AMA National Series this summer… we’ll have to ask him.

Our third guest for the evening is everybody’s favorite Yamaha rider… no, not Bubba, we’re talking about Nick Wey. We’re not really sure what we’ll be chatting at NYK about tonight, but we all know NYK, so it’s sure to be a good time.

This is also the second weekly giveaway of our MXvsATV ALIVE Swag Pack, so we’ll be calling our MXTalkRadio Division winner and trying to give away some cool swag from THQ, as well as covering the weekend of Fantasy Racing from the MXTalkRadio Division over at MotoXDream.
