Double D, Darryn Durham made his return to racing this weekend in Jacksonville putting his Eleven 10 Mods Honda well inside the Top10 with a 6th OA. We’re looking forward to hearing from Darryn about his speed, his wreck at Houston and his new gig with the team.
	Taylor Futrell is making his debut appearance on MXTalkRadio tonight, so we’ll have to spend a little time getting to know the semi-rookie. He’s currently sitting 13th in points, and he’s fresh off his first Top10 of the season at Jacksonville. we’ll ask him about his results, as well as his thoughts on his season so far.
Next up we’ve got Cole Seely checking in to chat about his fill-in ride under the Factory Honda tent. Cole was on fire in the West Lites series and has been equally fast on the big 450 in the East. We’ll ask Cole how he got the ride and what he thinks about competing with the best-of-the-best in the deepest sea of talent our sport has seen since the 80′s

Ti-Lubes’ Matt Boni is back for another round of banter with us. We’ll rap with him about the obvious cookie cutter stuff, but we’ll also find out what is new with him. Matt’s coming off a pair of 12th place finishes at Daytona and Indy, and is always good for a story about gators or his dads airboat, and anything else that goes on in the swamp…

For the first time on MXTalkRadio, we’ve got East Coast Lites sensation Justin Barcia from the Factory Connection Geico Honda Team. Justin can fill us in on his season and talk about some of his “more aggressive” moves, then we’ll do what we can to find out about the kid they call “bam bam”.

Since Bodybag & Forehead couldn’t make it to Indy, we’ll be catching up with juggalo extraordinaire Dave Deringer to give us some of the highlights and lowlights of the weekend. We are truly hoping he has some groundbreaking dirt he can shovel on us, but more than likely we’ll just bench race about the weekend and on what’s to come for the season.

JStar/JDR Motorsports has been making a name for themselves this year, and tonight we’ve got their Easy Coast Lites “Star” PJ Larsen on to tell us how things are going. PJ’s been racing more than half his life, and his experience is making a clear difference in this years East Lites Series. In the first 3 rounds, PJ has gooten faster and his results speak volumes, and after his recent 5th at Daytona, nobody would dare argue he doesn’t have what it takes.

UP next we’ve got Canadian National Champ Dusty Klatt checking in. This is Dusty’s first time on the show, so we’ll spend a little time getting to know the speedy Canuk. It’s been a while since Dusty raced here in the US, but he’s hanging around Southern California these days so maybe he’s got plans to get busy in the AMA National Series this summer… we’ll have to ask him.

Our third guest for the evening is everybody’s favorite Yamaha rider… no, not Bubba, we’re talking about Nick Wey. We’re not really sure what we’ll be chatting at NYK about tonight, but we all know NYK, so it’s sure to be a good time.

This week on MXTalkRadio Ryan Villopoto will be checking in right out of the gate to talk about the SX Series as well as being the current series points leader. Ryan’s results so far have been beyond impressive and we’ll get a chance to talk to him about how he got here and where he’s headed as the series moves forward.

With the much anticipated kick-off of East Coast Lites racing, we thought it would be best to grab a couple of the Title Contenders and have a talk with them after the excitement of Houston SX.

First up, we’ll get Matt Lemoine on the line and find out just what it took to put his MotoExtreme Kawasaki right into the Top10 this weekend with a 9th OA, showing he has the speed he needs to get it done in the upcoming rounds. We haven’t talked to Matt since last year when he was challenging the tough West Coast Lites Series, so tonight we’ll get our chance to have Matt take us through his off season journey right up to the Houston Main Event checkered flag.

Next we’ll get down to business with DNA Shred Stix rider Ryan Sipes. Ryan was surrounded by hype on Saturday after he set the fastest lap in qualifying practice sessions at 49:58, and was an odds on favorite to take a piece of the podium in Houston. Sipes had his sights set on 3rd, but a connection with Wharton late in the race left Sipes on the ground and salvaging 4th in the East Coast SX Series Opener. With obvious speed, and a familiar feeling Yamaha under his rump, we’re sure to see Ryan making another run at the podium in the coming rounds.

As usual, we’ll also be doing some Fantasy Bench Racing and comparing our results from the MXTalkRadio Friends division over at MotoXDream. Houston wasn’t nice to some team managers, and it was VERY nice to others. We’ll break down what held up and what colapsed, as well as making our semi-infamous prank call to our weekly winner from Houston.

Another Tuesday night and another show packed with awesome guests starting with JGR / Muscle Milk’s Justin Brayton. Justin has been on the verge of a podium finish this year amongst what is likely the most stacked group of talent we’ve seen in two decades. He’s had a couple rough races in this young season, but he rallied back to grab his best finish yet at Anaheim 2 this past weekend. We’ll catch up with Justin and talk to him about his strengths, speed, bike and team. If we’ve got time we might even ask him what he thinks of his new nickname ‘The SituBrayton’.

Next up we’ve got a hero among hero’s, Jimmy Button. Jimmy is about to embark on a bicycle journey from San Diego to Daytona Florida in an effort to raise $1,000,000 for Miles For Miracles, a charity that raises money for spinal cord research. In January 2000, Jimmy was a Factory Yamaha motocross racer, and on January 22nd of that same year Jimmy suffered paralyzing injuries when he crashed during practice at the San Diego SX. He was paralyzed from the neck down, and considered a quadriplegic. After months of rehab, Jimmy was able to regain movement and be one of the very fortunate few that ever recover from these types of injuries. Now, ten years later Jimmy and his trainer Cory are teaming up to raise money for those that were not so fortunate after suffering a spinal cord injury.

Our final guest Bruce Rutherford has been consistently killing it in the ultra-stacked West Coast Lites class in 2011. This 20 year old is what we consider a full-blown privateer with his dad on the wrenches and a nearly stock bike with only simple bolt-on goodies, he’s taken his heart and desire out to the track to do battle with the best there is. We’ll get to know as much as we can about where he came from, who’s helping him and what his plans are for 2011 while we’ve got his full attention and he’s got ours.

Our show tonight is built on the talented privateer contingent we’ve got for 2011. Ti-Lube’s Matt Boni will kick it off when he checks in to chat with us about the first 4 races from his perspective. Matt didn’t exactly start off the season the way he’d have liked to, but after making the main in Oakland he’s got himself running at speed again and carrying momentum in to the upcoming rounds.

Next we’ve got a veteran to the sport and consistent competitor #903 Antonio Balbi. Balbi’s got rockstar status in his home country of Brazil, but he regularly comes to the US because he genuinely likes racing where the competition is the deepest. Balbi’s results are as unwavering and consistent as his dedication to racing in the USA. Tonight we’ll see if we can get a peek at what goes on behind the helmet of Brazil’s favorite motocrosser.

Our final guest tonight is literally the guy behind the camera. Justin from GoPro will be joining us to talk about the new GoPro HD camera and their involvement with 2011 Supercross and the riders.

Over the last few weeks, our shows have been so packed with guests that we haven’t had time to cover the bench racing and editorial side of 2011 SX the way we normally like to. So, right out of the gate tonight we’re going to handle a few sweet spots from both Phoenix and Dodger Stadium. Our plan is to rap about hot button topics like the apology from Ralph Sheheen to L&M Racing, Pastrana’s blurred Red Bull logo and the article by Daily News Knucklehead Tom Hoffarth hammering Supercross on the “Hallowed Ground” of Dodger Stadium. Aside from that, we’ll do some industry news, bench racing and we’ll give some hints about what we saw during our visit to Rainbow Studios and the new MXvsATV Alive game.

At roughly 7:30, we’ll be calling Rockstar Suzuki’s Ryan Morais and giving him his proper respect for a well earned podium finish this weekend. Morais was a contender in 2010 SX until his season was cut short when he was landed on at one of the early season races. He sat out the balance of 2010 SX but it obviously didn’t hurt his speed as he proved on Saturday night in front of the historical crowd that filled Dodger Stadium

We’ve wanted to talk with our next guest for a long time, and finally we’re making it happen. Moto Concepts rider Vince Friese has often been a topic of conversation on our show as well as off, now we’ll get the straight scoop from the man himself. Vince had a rough go at Dodger Stadium this weekend finishing 3rd in the LCQ, which was as close as you can get, but not quite enough to put him and his Yamaha into the main event. We’ll talk to Vince about his aggressive riding style, his switch to 450’s for 2011 and whether it’s good or bad to go home with the Asterisk LCQ Bonus money. .

Nick Paluzzi is a newcomer on the Supercross scene this year but hasn’t exactly been flying under the radar in the first 3 races. With two Top 10 finishes under his belt, the young rookie finds himself in a tie with his DNA Shred Stix Yamaha team mate Kyle Cunningham for 10th OA in the West Coast Lites Series. We’ll get some of the #72’s background as well as dig into what motivates him these days.

We’re into the 3rd week of our LIVE Video Broadcast and it all seems to be going pretty smooth. We’ve made a few tweaks for this week that will streamline the experience for our listeners, and hopefully simplify things on our end too. But what’s really important is SUPERCROSS, so with that being said, here’s our lineup for tonight…

Kyle’s been right in there with the best of them, and finished Phoenix 9th in what is probably the most stacked 450 class ever. We’ll rap with Kyle about riding in the stacked 450 class, his team, training and whtever else we can think of along the way.

Next up Bodybag & Forehead will be joined by Ben Evans. Evans is hauling the mail this season and earning HUGE points for those of us playing Fantasy Supercross. We’ll get a chance to see how he’s feeling about his series so far, his surprises from A1 and Phoenix, and his expectations as we head into round 3 of West Coast Lites racing. .

As if that wasn’t enough, we’ve got Jimmy DeCotis checking in to chat about his new ride on Will Hahn’s Geico Powersports Honda. Jimmy was fast as heck last season, and from what we saw at Phoenix he looks to be as fast or faster in 2011. We’ll talk to Jimmy about his team and his strategy for the rest of the short West Coast Lites series.

We’re back for yet another week LIVE and to top it off, we will once again be streaming LIVE Video for the second week in a row!The dust hasn’t even settled from A1, but with all the hype surrounding the weekend we’re going to try and ride some of the momentum…

Next we’re gonna hook up with the #23 Rockstar Suzuki’s Martin Davalos to talk about his killer performance over the weekend. Martin was fast as hell last season and looks like he’s off to even a better start for 2011. He’ll tell us his thoughts on the upcoming weeks and his competition…

Nate Ramsey over at JDR /JStar KTM was awesome enough to hook us up with our final guest of the evening Ryan Marmont. Ryan is straight outta OZ and will probably only be here for 2 rounds, but while he’s here he wants to do some damage on the US Series. We’ll have him shed some light on the new team, making the main at A1 and riding for Nate. Maybe he’ll even give our listeners the hot tip on getting lined up with a Bentley from the guys at JStar.

Aside from the fact that we’ve got a killer line-up for tonight’s show, we’re also pumped at our first ever live WEBCAST. Right out of the gate tonight we’ll be joined by the real JT$, Jason Thomas. JT’s the old dog in the sport these days but he’s still turning in consistent results. To top it off, he’s one hell of a Fantasy Supercross  Team Manager too. We’ll chat with Jason tonight about his 2011 setup as well as pick his brain for a Fantasy SX darkhorse or two.

Next, Tyla Rattray will check in. Tyla killed it during 2010 Motocross and is poised to be a contender for 2011 Supercross in the lites class. We’ll see what he’s been doing during the off season and what he has up his sleeve for 2011 SX too.

Last but not least we’ll have Troy Lee’s Cristian Craig. From what we’ve heard this dude could be a real surprise this season. He’s been laying down some quick laps at the practice track and is one of the best sprinters out there. TLD’s team has gone through a few changes for 2011 with a new manager and a couple new riders, but we have no doubt the boys from TLD will be running out front when the gate drops

You guys know that around here at MXTalkRadio we love us some MotoXDream.com Fantasy Racing, so to kick off this ultra packed show we’ve got MXD’s original architect, the Rockstar Denny Stephenson. Supercross/Motocross Fantasy Racing was Denny’s brainchild back in the late 90′s, and although it has seen copious transformations through the years, we thought it would be cool to hear about the early history and idea that beget MXD.

A few weeks ago, Bodybag & Forehead were blasting through the list of who’s-who and where are they now for 2011 SX. At the time, neither Bodybag or Forehead could say where Tommy Hahn was going to be for 2011, well we decided the best way to handle it would be to ask Tommy ourselves. So, Tommy will join us to talk about his 2011 bike/team setup, what gear he’s wearing, what he did during his time-off, etc…

After Tommy Hahn-ster wraps-up, we’ve got ‘Ryno’ Ryan Hughes coming back on for what will very likely be a weekly segment here on MXTalkRadio. Ryan is pumping RynoPower.com and he’s got a bunch of killer tips for the weekend warrior regarding fitness, nutrition and keeping a mental focus to be competitive. Don’t think for a second that Ryno is only bringing fitness and nutrition to the show either, he’s got way more up his sleeve but you’ll have to tune in to hear it for yourself.

Last but certainly not least, phenom Travis Baker will punch in to talk about his new ride with the Troy Lee Designs Team. Travis opened quite a few eyes last season with his consistency and stellar finishes often topping the odds-on favorites. Right off the bat we’ve got John Dowd who races Southwick every year representing the Geritol crowd. Dowd did pretty killer for a guy in his upper 60′s at Southwick in 2009, and we expect no less from the MX338 local for 2010. We’ll talk with John about his preparation for the ‘wick and how long he plans to keep this annual ritual up.

Next up we’ve got Geico Powersports Honda’s Blake Wharton checking in to chat about his season. Blake was on a travel day last week when we originally had him scheduled and we couldn’t make it happen, but he has assured us that this will be the night. Anyway, Blake has been getting progressively faster as the season wears on, and his first moto podium at Unadilla is proof that Blake is a serious player. We’ll talk to Blake about his team and his strategy for the rest of the short AMA Motocross series.

Unadilla is always exciting, but this week had even more promise with the return of James Stewart and the visiting GP rider Clement Desalle. This past week is sort of a limbo week for MX, so the next best thing for us to talk about is X Games. We’ll do a quick run down of what happened at X this weekend and give you the current industry news we’ve picked up since last Tuesday.

Speaking of X Games, we’ve got X Games Supercross racer Justin Brayton on the show tonight to give us all his first-hand experience. Justin wrapped up 2nd place in X just behind his JGR team mate Josh Grant knocking out some heavy hitters along the way. Justin also had one of his best rides of the AMA MX season at Washougal, so we’ll talk to him a little about that while we have the chance.

Tonight on MXTalkRadio.com – Washougal Race re-cap, Dan Reardon and MotoXDream Fantasy race review.

The MX season is past the half way point and the silly-season is already starting to get rolling so we’ve got a bunch of news for you that we picked up at Washougal this weekend. We’ll also be covering the Washougal HDCP Fantasy Race at MXD where there was plenty of opportunity to make up valuable points.

Next we’ll be joined by the #122 of Dan Reardon. Dan had his best moto of 2010 MX at Washougal and has had a pretty consistent season so far in the outdoor series. 2010 started Dan off on the Moto Concepts team, but now Dan is riding for Valli and we’ll find out what was his reason for the change.

Tonight on MXTalkRadio.com – Shawn ‘SND’ Norfolk, David Pingree, MIllville Race re-cap and MotoXDream Fantasy race review/preview.

Tonight on this pre-recorded episode of Bodybag & Forehead, we’ve got TLD’s new marketing director Shawn Norfolk. Shawn has been around the industry for years and has seen it all, but tonight Shawn gave us the 411 on what’s happening at his new stomping grounds over at Troy Lee Designs. Shawn has also been a long-time Fantasy Team Manger over at MotoXDream and has quite a track record of kicking ass, so we squeezed him see who he had his sights set on for the upcoming round at Washougal and got some pretty hot tips. While we had Shawn on the phone, good ol’ Ping (David Pingree) walked in and Shawn put him on the phone with us. Ping gave us some info on the successful season the TLD guys have had as well as his own career move he’s making soon. After some battling about who was fat and balding we finally got Shawn back on to finish talking Fantasy MX and tell us about the new retail ‘Image’ store that TLD recently opened here in So.Cal.

Tonight on MXTalkRadio.com – Shane Schaefer, Ryan Hughes, Brett Metcalfe and MotoXDream Fantasy race review/preview.

First up Bodybag & Forehead will chat with Shane Schaefer from Schaefer Tracks. Shane has been out at Milleville all week building the national track for this weekends’ AMA National MX, so we’ll talk to Shane and see what’s new and what we can expect for the race this weekend.

Our next guest will be Ryan Hughes. He’s been busy lately and we’ll get our chance to talk to Ryan Hughes to see exactly what’s going on in his program. Ryan’s got a new line of nutrition products, so we’ll be sure to ask him about that, but we’ll also see what he’s been up to since closing Rynoland and leaving professional moto racing.

Last but not least Brett Metcalfe will be on to give Bodybag & Forehead the 411 on his stellar season so far. Brett sits 3rd in points just 3 points behind Reed in 2nd and a firm 12 points out front of Andrew Short in 4th. We’ll grill Brett about when we can expect to see him catch his first OA and what tracks he favors the most out of the remaining tracks in the series.

Also on tonight’s show, Bodybag & Forehead will preview the upcoming round of AMA Outdoor MX Racing in Millville and cover the last Fantasy Racing round that went down at MotoXDream.

First off Bodybag & Forehead will cover the happenings from Freestone. Freestone was a free-for-all and many of the series best racers got caught up in the chaos. We’ll talk about the race as well as the upcoming round at High Point and the Championship overall. We’ll also talk about the USGP that took place at Glen Helen last week and get Forehead’s first hand recap of the event.

Next up we’ve got Merge Racing’s Kyle Regal checking in to chat about his weekend in Texas. Kyle has some speed and his Top10 in moto 2 at Freestone proved that. We’ll talk to Kyle about his team and his game face for the rest of the AMA Motocross series.

Legendary Ryan Hughes is headed to South America, but before he skips town he’ll spend some time with Bodybag & Forehead giving us the 411 on his recent USGP effort. We’ll also get a chance to talk about what he’s been up to down at Rynoland and who he’s got training under his watch.

Last but not least we’ll talk about the Fantasy Racing from Freestone. Forehead had a nice weekend, but Bodybag is still ahead in the overall.

   With the first round of AMA Pro Motocross now behind us, Bodybag & Forehead will attempt to give you their flavor of the weekends happenings. Much speculation went down prior to the race at Hangtown, but now the questions have been anwered… or maybe not?

   We’ll also have U.K. export Ben Lamay on to talk about his first race back on American soil. Ben went 13-12 for 11th OA at the lengendary Hangtown opener and made a statement about his improved form and true speed to the American teams hoping to keep his name on their radar.

This week on Bodybag & Forehead LIVE!!! @ 7:00pm Pacific, Athlete Manager Paul Lindsey and Trainer Randy Lawrence.

   Paul Lindsey has been around the sport of moto for quite some time and has a long list of credentials to go with it. He began as an AMA Pro Racer then transitioned into Team Management/Ownership with the Motoworld Yamaha Racing Team. More recently, Paul found himself involved in the field of athlete management, as well as spending some time on the now de-funked MotoShow with Steve Matthes. As always, Paul is pushing forward and has many many things lined up for the remainder of 2010, so we thought we would get him on and discuss some of those projects and get some valuable insight from him on the 2010 outdoor series.

   Like our other guest, Randy Lawrence has an impressive list of accomplishments himself. However, Randy isn’t your standard behind-the-scenes type of guy, he’s practically a household name in the moto industry. RL’s fame and notoriety goes way back before the Crusty Demons days, but now resides in a more polished and formal position training the worlds best Supercross and Motocross racers. We’ll get Randy on record to talk about how he got to where he is, his training regimen, and how the switch from Supercross to Motocross changes the way he handles his riders.
