Posted by admin | LIVE Show | Wednesday 26 May 2010 6:31 am

This week on Bodybag & Forehead LIVE!!! @ 7:00pm Pacific, Ben Lamay & Hangtown Race Wrap-Up.

With the first round of AMA Pro Motocross now behind us, Bodybag & Forehead will attempt to give you their flavor of the weekends happenings. Much speculation went down prior to the race at Hangtown, but now the questions have been anwered… or maybe not?

We’ll also have U.K. export Ben Lamay on to talk about his first race back on American soil. Ben went 13-12 for 11th OA at the lengendary Hangtown opener and made a statement about his improved form and true speed to the American teams hoping to keep his name on their radar.

Also on this episode, our SX Season finale of ‘Gay Moments In Supercross‘. It’s a short but sweet segment this time, but hilarious anyway. As always, we invite our LIVE!!! listeners to join our CHAT ROOM during the show to interact with other listeners and the hosts.

Bodybag & Forehead LIVE!!! - Paul Lindsey & Randy Lawrence

Posted by admin | LIVE Show | Wednesday 19 May 2010 2:47 am

This week on Bodybag & Forehead LIVE!!! @ 7:00pm Pacific, Athlete Manager Paul Lindsey and Trainer Randy Lawrence.

Paul Lindsey has been around the sport of moto for quite some time and has a long list of credentials to go with it. He began as an AMA Pro Racer then transitioned into Team Management/Ownership with the Motoworld Yamaha Racing Team. More recently, Paul found himself involved in the field of athlete management, as well as spending some time on the now de-funked MotoShow with Steve Matthes. As always, Paul is pushing forward and has many many things lined up for the remainder of 2010, so we thought we would get him on and discuss some of those projects and get some valuable insight from him on the 2010 outdoor series.

Like our other guest, Randy Lawrence has an impressive list of accomplishments himself. However, Randy isn’t your standard behind-the-scenes type of guy, he’s practically a household name in the moto industry. RL’s fame and notoriety goes way back before the Crusty Demons days, but now resides in a more polished and formal position training the worlds best Supercross and Motocross racers. We’ll get Randy on record to talk about how he got to where he is, his training regimen, and how the switch from Supercross to Motocross changes the way he handles his riders.

As always, we invite our LIVE!!! listeners to join our CHAT ROOM during the show to interact with the hosts as well as other listeners. Catch Bodybag & Forehead this Tuesday, and every Tuesday, at 7:00pm Pacific on MXTalkRadio.com

This week on Bodybag & Forehead LIVE!!! Dean Wilson, Martin Davalos, SX Season Wrap-Up, MXTalkRadio Fantasy Season and more!

The 2010 AMA Supercross Season has come to an end, but it’s not the end of the excitement for moto fans. Outdoor MX is just around the corner and we’ll start diggin’ into it early with our guests Dean Wilson and Martin Davalos. We’ll also cover some of the seasons high points and low points as well as do a Vegas wrap-up. On the Fantasy Front, we’ll give proper shout outs to the MXTalkRadio division champions and Vegas winners.

First up we’ll be giving Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki’s Dean Wilson a call to chat about his stellar ride in Vegas, his rookie season and the transition to the outdoor series. Dean had some immigration problems that kept him away for a couple rounds, but he was a solid competitor at every race he made it to.

Just after we finish talking to Dean, we’ve got DNA Shred Stix/Star Racing Yamaha’s Martin Davalos on to give us his preceptions of the SX Series as well as what will change in his program for outdoor MX. Davalos also had a strong ride in the east/west shootout so we’ll dig into that a little bit while we have his attention.

Last but not least we will cover our MXTalkRadio Fantasy Racing series. Unfortunately Bodybag & Forehead didn;t do as well as we would have liked to, but we will reluctantly talk about how well you all did anyway. Don’t forget to join us in the Chat Room if you are listening to the show LIVE!!!.

Bodybag & Forehead LIVE!!! Nick Wey, Wil Hahn

Posted by admin | LIVE Show | Tuesday 20 April 2010 12:25 pm

This week on Bodybag & Forehead LIVE!!! Dave Derringer, Nick Wey, Wil Hahn, St. Louis Supercross race re-cap.

First off we’ve got to tell you this is another podcast… yep, we couldn’t make it happen LIVE!!! this week again because Bodybag is headed off for another vacation. Anyway, we did manage to put together a pretty sweet podcast show that starts with freelance reporter Dave Derringer checking in to give us his first hand account of the St. Louis supercross mayhem.

Next up we’ve got Nick Wey with his account of the weekend after his season best of 4th place. Nick may break some news to us about a potential change in his riding plans for the last 3 rounds, but you’ll have to listen in to see what happens. No doubt we haven’t seen the best of Nick and the Ti Lube Babbitts Kawasaki in the Top5 yet, and we’ll see what Nick has to say about the next 3 rounds.

Finally we’ve got Troy Lee Design’s Wil Hahn to talk about his stellar run at the West coast lites points. Wil was flying way under most peoples radar when the season started, but he’s proven he’s a force to be reckoned with on the West. Wil is currently sitting in 3rd overall in the points and just a slim 7 points down from 2nd place Canard. They’re getting back to racing this weekend in Seattle, and we’ll ask Wil what’s he’s been up to, who he’s riding with, and what his plans are after the SX series ends.
